Linux Network Administration

This is a basic introductory course for beginners in Linux where you will start with the installation of Linux, VirtualBox, and CentOS. You will learn about the installation of CentOS7 and 8.

You will learn to enable internet access to Virtual Machine and explore network files and commands that help us configure the machine. You will learn about one of the very important and critical aspects of Linux, which is NIC bonding, and learn how to download files and applications in Linux using the wget command.

Explore the rsync command, which stands for remote synchronization and is used to transfer or copy files from one machine to another. We will also discuss SSH and telnet, the two main services that run in Linux to accept connections from outside.

You will learn how to locate IP addresses using hostnames, the significance of the Network Time Protocol (NTP) for synchronizing time with other servers, and the modern chronyd daemon. Additionally, you will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting network issues with traceroute.
